JVSS is the owners' children’s initials; Jessen Valerie Soquillo Sepe, John Vincent Soquillo Sepe, Jessa Veronica Soquillo Sepe, James Venice Soquillo Sepe (J stands for Joviseto, V stands for Visitacion)
The three children who are facing Jesus are JV, Joven, and Jessa. The one on Jesus’s lap is James Venice, the fourth child who is now with Him in heaven because he was miscarried on March 27, 2002. The dog is the family’s favorite pet, a sign of loyalty and security.
The rays surrounding Jesus represent the total personality of the child with different domains, namely, physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and moral, making sure that Christ is the focus of his development. They are in primary colors to mean basic faculties which are the main concern of JVSS Montessori School, to make the child ready for the more difficult challenges in life. These basic faculties need to be developed. Basic skills need to be nurtured so that when more complicated situations occur the child is ready for the encounter like the primary colors when mixed create a more beautiful new color an image of a new self.

Building Character. The school endeavors to build the child’s character in cooperation with the parents through its ground rules that the child consistently follows every day.
Molding Leaders. Even if the child may not be intellectually superior, the school guides him to independently find the path where his life is leading him to be.
Training for Excellence. Believing in multiple intelligences, the school strives to give the child the best experience to identify himself, enrich his strengths and counter and accept his weaknesses so that he will excel in the field he is interested in.
